MEECE Buoy Deployment
The launch of the scientific marine testing buoy for the Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult, will be helping to tackle the net zero and decarbonising challenge. Known as the Marine Energy Engineering Centre of Excellence buoy, the device will help to solve some of the engineering challenges facing the floating offshore wind industry.

Marine biologists at Swansea University needed assistance with an experiment to learn more about marine life living on construction materials. The task for Williams Shipping was to help recover the frames from the experiment from the bottom of the sea.

Sub Hub Tow From Strangford Lough to Pembroke Dock
The challenge was to provide towage and to relocate the Sub Hub from Strangford Lough to Pembroke due to the suitability of vessels in its fleet and as the company has operational bases in Pembroke. Making this relocation best suited for ongoing operational requirements.
Williams Shipping was the best choice for this due to the expertise in complex tows and tows of sensitive equipment.
